MOE Sets To Revise The National Standards For Teaching And The Sector’s Performance Appraisal System
Basseterre, St. Kitts, Tuesday, November 02, 2021: Advancing in its mission to fulfill the 2017-2021 Education Sector Plan mandate for Programme Area 4: “Professionalizing the Teaching Force”, the Ministry of Education (MOE) will be hosting a consultation session on Thursday, November 04, 2021, at 1:30 pm.
The virtual consultation session supported by the Organization of American States Development Cooperation Fund (OAS/DCF) will be spearheaded by Dr. Marcia Stewart and Mrs. Elaine Foster, members of the OAS/DCF consultation team.
Targeting individuals in senior leadership positions within the MOE, the one-day session will focus on (i) revising the professional standards for the national teaching profession and (ii) revising the performance appraisal system for the education sector.
