Monthly meeting of engineers

NEMALogoBasseterre, St. Kitts — Over the past six months there has been a re-organization of the St Kitts-Nevis Association of Professional Engineers.

The activities held included the appointment of an Interim Committee, the review of the existing Constitution and the holding of Monthly Meetings.

The Association also approached the Ministry of Legal Affairs of the Federal Government with a view towards having passed in the National Assembly an Act that will govern the Engineering Profession in the Federation.

On Saturday 9th November 2013 at the N.E.M.A. Headquarters Building in St Kitts, the members of the Engineering Profession will elect an Executive. This Executive will be responsible for the affairs of the Association for a period of 1 year.

It is expected that at least 40 Engineers from the Federation will meet to elect the new Executive.

Engineers on the island that have not yet registered are encouraged to do so by contacting the Interim Secretary, Mr. Junie Caines before Friday 8th November 2013.
