Montserrat beats Nevis at home

Hot on the heels of the trip to Nevis by the Montserrat team, the Nevis Basketball team journeyed to Montserrat on the weekend  of the 29th November and engaged the Montserrat team in two Basketball games.

Unlike the previous visit when Nevis shared honours winning one game and losing one, this time around, the Montserrat team with the home crowd support won both games.

The first one they won quite comfortably by all of  21 points.  The Nevis team however, pulled out all of the stops in the second game and the match went into overtime with Montserrat eventually edging out the visitors by just three points.
