Sports Page — President of the Nevis Amateur Basketball Association NABA, Miss Wanda Parry indicated on Thursday that her Association is in the process of ensuring that there are Under 19 representative Basketball teams on the island.
She noted that the goal is to ensure that there is continuity to the ongoing Basketball program on the island and wants the youth teams to be well prepared when there are interisland Basketball tournaments for young players.
In light of this, a very important meeting will be held at the Grell Hull-Stevens Netball Complex on Tuesday 22nd September at 5 pm. All youthful Basketballers and persons interested in learning to play the game of Basketball, between the ages of 9 and 19, are cordially invited to the meeting.
Coaching sessions will be arranged which will commence shortly.
