National Bank Lights up Tabernacle Daycare Centre

Basseterre 01/5/12 – On Friday 20 April, 2012 staff members from the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited demonstrated their ability to roll their sleeves up to get the job done when they visited the Tabernacle Daycare Centre to install over seventy florescent lamps.

A request was made by the school for assistance to replace some faulty lamps. Members of staff visited the property to assess the scope of the problem. This visit revealed that a larger number of lamps than what was requested were required. Arrangements were made to secure the additional lamps and the installation was conducted by members of the National Bank staff.

Julianna Powell, Supervisor of the Daycare expressed heartfelt appreciation for the generous support that the Bank had provided by not only purchasing the lamps but also installing them. She mentioned that assistance had been sought from other corporate bodies, none of which had responded positively. Ms. Powell wished the Bank success for the future.

NATIONAL is confident that this contribution to the Tabernacle Daycare Centre has provided a more comfortable environment for staff and children and in addition, helped to enhance the security of the building.

The Bank has yet again demonstrated its commitment to community and promoting the welfare of the citizens of our Federation.
