National Bank new attitude basketball playoffs continued this past weekend

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 14, 2019 (ZIZ News): One game was played on Sunday in the National Bank New Attitude Basketball playoffs when Polstars was blown away by ASC Jay Hawks 127 to 57. For Jay Hawks Ranier Richardson scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, Leroy Wilkinson scored 20 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, while Denilson Patrick scored 11 points, 10 rebounds and made 3 steals. For Polstars Brandon Govia scored 20 points and made 2 steals, Danny Isles scored 15 points, 4 rebounds had 2 steals.

The ECCB Bucks were a no show for their game versus Sandy Point Pride Kings which means Pride Kings will be wait to go up against the winner of the Tuff Knotts and Sandy Point Falcons series in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile the two teams from St. Kitts that travelled to Nevis on Sunday won both their games.

The Verchild’s High School Hawks defeated Charlestown Secondary School (CSS) Lions 81 to 46.

For Verchild’s, Tyquan Rogers scored 25 points, T’an Phipps 22 points, J’quante Fraser 13 points. For CSS Lions, Theon Queely 9 points, Timothy Caines and 8 points.

Rams Hitters defeated Youth and Sports Eagles 71 to 66 for Hitters Daryl Lewis 28 points,Marlon Powell 14 points,David Dowell 12 points,for Eagles Trevor Simmonds 28 points, Kareem Parry 13 points,Gassano Barry 10 points.

The Playoffs continue on Tuesday June 18 with two games.
