National Bank’s “Personal Budgeting” presentation

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 11, 2020 (ZIZ News): The students of Washington Archibald High got a quick lesson on personal budgeting during a presentation at the school on Tuesday.

The presentation comes as part of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank’s 49th Anniversary that is celebrated on February 15th.

The presentation was made by Marketing Director at National Bank, Anthony Morton who said every year the bank tries to do something special to mark the anniversary and this year they’ve decided to share their knowledge with the students of the Federation in hopes that they will become better money managers.

Morton said the topics to be covered are parents’ monthly budget, money management or the importance of saving and higher education.

At the end of the presentation, Washington Archibald High student, Wanyaira Woolard thanked the representatives of National Bank for their presentation on personal budgeting noting that they can use the information for their upcoming exams.

National Bank’s Anniversary celebrations will continue with presentations being made to all secondary schools in the Federation, a church service at the Antioch Baptist Church, a staff engagement games night and karaoke and a community outreach initiative.
