National Trust Goes On Scenic Tour
ZIZ News Friday 13th September 2103 — The National Trust is getting in on the creation of fun activities for Monday 16th, National Heroes Day.
Joann Kelly of the National Trust Board says that the group will be having its annual Scenic Tour around the island.
An invitation is been extended to residents who have yet taken the tour. The ride on the train around the island is popular with visitors.
The national trust promises to take passengers of the tour back hundreds of years with cultural and traditional songs, string band music and important historical information.
The funds raised from the scenic island tour with go towards the continuous restoration of the old treasury building which houses the national museum, as well as other cultural and ecological heritage sites vested in the national trust.
