Nationals Living Abroad Celebrate 36th Anniversary of Independence

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 19, 2019 (ZIZ News): Kittitians and Nevisians living abroad are celebrating the federation’s 36th Anniversary of Independence with special ceremonies and concerts.

Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis living in Oklahoma held a special Independence luncheon where they were seeing paying tributes to the nation in song, dance and poems.

The luncheon was held at the Dr. Sheila Hodge-Windover Institute in Lawton, Oklahoma.

The group organizes an Independence themed  get together each year to pay homage to their land of birth despite living overseas.

The federation of St. Kitts and Nevis celebrates its Independence Day each year on the 19th of September.
