Nevis Culturama results in over 14,000 passenger movements to Charlestown

MarkTwain-1Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) — The St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) is reporting that passenger movements from St. Kitts’ Ferry Terminal to Nevis in the month of August topped the 14,000 mark.

Nevis’ annual Culturama celebrations are seen as partly responsible for the 14,549 persons boarding the ferries from the major sea port in Basseterre compared to 12,442 in July.

SCASPA’s Department of Finance and Statistics disclosed there were 9,944 passenger movements in February 2014; 11,229 in March 2014; 9,679 in April 10,189 in May and 10,720 passengers in June.
