Nevis Football Association to host Awards Ceremony
After the successful hosting of the 2013/14 local Football season, the Nevis Football Association is now in the planning stage for a grand awards ceremony.
President George BRIGO Meade has indicated that instead of just calling the players and officials to the Park and handing out the awards, his Association is planning a more formal ceremony, ‘because they deserve it,’ he stated.
An official release from the Football Association reads thus:
“The Nevis Football Association would like to invite you our member clubs, members and affiliated bodies to our First Annual NFA Football Awards Ceremony at the Jessups Community Center on Saturday 22nd April at 5 PM. We intend to begin promptly, so please be advised accordingly.
We are requesting and would appreciate if;
- The Top three teams namely, Slybo Stoney Grove Strikers, Caribbean Cable Communications Bath United and SL Horsford’s Highlights International have at least 25 members including management to collect the 25 medals that will be given out for the top three places.
- All clubs present can have their team dressed in their team shirts for identification, colour and pictures.
- Individual prizes to be given out will include, Golden glove and boot, Best Mid and Def, Rookie and Veteran of the year and League and Final Four MVPs
We thank you for your participation in what has been a very interesting and exhilarating season and look forward to your presence at the awards ceremony.’
