Sports Page — It was a very exciting contest, as the Nevis Masters’ cricket team came up against their Kittitian counterparts in an exhibition match on Saturday 5th September.
The match was a prelude to the exciting grand finale in the Keith Arthurton/ Windsor University T20 competition which was played at the Warner park cricket stadium.
It came down to the St. Kitts team requiring 32 runs from the last 2 overs. The penultimate over was bowled by Charles Hendrickson and 8 runs were scored from that over. St. Kitts therefore needed 24 from the final over bowled by Captain Wendell “Micey” Wallace and they only managed another 9 runs.
The Nevis Masters winning by 15 runs.
