Nevis Teams to face off in Inter High Schools Championships

The Giant Malt sponsored Inter High Schools Championships for 2014, will climax today at the ET Willet Park.

Interestingly, the competition which features secondary schools from St. Kitts and Nevis, will see two Nevis teams in the grand finals.

The Charlestown Secondary school and the Gingerland Secondary school are the two top teams after the preliminary round of matches and have both qualified for the finals.

Due to the fact that the two teams are from Nevis, the match will be played at Nevis’ premier grounds, the ET Willet Park.

The CSS team goes into the match with an obvious advantage, having soundly defeated the GSS team in a recent encounter in the ongoing local second division league..

However, Manager of the Gingerland team, David Grant is not perturbed.  He knows that cricket is played on the field and it will be the best team on the day that will take the winner’s trophy.

The match is scheduled to commence at 10 am.
