Nevis Trounced By Anguilla in Li Tournament Encounter
Sports Page—Friday 19th July 2013–The Nevis team was trounced by Anguilla in a Leeward Islands three day fixture played in Antigua from Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th July.
Nevis suffered two major batting collapses in both innings and save for the heroics of Adelvin Phillip and Nelson Boland in the first and the same Nelson Boland and Wasim BOOM BOOM Mintos in the second, the score card would have looked even worse
Nevis needing to make 112 to avoid an innings defeat, made exactly 112 all out in their second innings.
Anguilla romped home to victory, just requiring a single run in their second innings to seal the deal
