Nevis Under 19’s Win Over Dennington College

Sports Page–Monday 15th July 2013–A visiting under 19 team from the Dennington College in the United Kingdom, engaged the Nevis under 19 team at the ET Willet Park on Sunday 14th July.

The home team batted first and scored 131 for 6 from their 30 overs. Ross Powell continued his impressive run of form by scoring 62 before he was well caught at square leg, flicking airily. Theron Bussue contributed 25.

When the visitors batted, they were restricted to 116 for 9 from their 30 overs.

Theron Bussue; Hakeem Harvey and Tevin Nisbett all collected 2 wickets each.

The Nevis under 19’s have another important practice match at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday 16th July. That is when they will engage the winning Nevis Masters, Leeward Islands champion team in a match scheduled to begin at 4.30 pm.
