“January 16, 2013.

The Executive Committee
Nevis Netball Association
Charlestown, Nevis.

Attn: Ms. Vera Herbert, Vice President

Dear Madam

After 45 years of service to the Nevis Netball Association, I have decided it is time for me to retire from the day to day operations of the Nevis Netball Association, effective immediately.

My Job as General Manager of Nelson Spring Beach Resort and caring for my son is very challenging and does not give me the time that is necessary to properly function to the best of my ability in the Netball Association.

I have enjoyed every moment of my time as a Player, Umpire and Administrator. I would recommend any young person who is interested in self development, to join any Sports Organization to not only play the game, but to aim at becoming involved in the administration of the game.

I will, however, be happy to assist at anytime, give any advice or to help in any way as long as it’s humanly possible.

I wish you all the best as you continue to work with the young people of Nevis.

Sincerely
Jan
Jeanette Grell-Hull MH”

In an interview with NTV sports on Monday, Ms Hull reiterated her commitment to assisting the local Netball Association whenever and however possible.

She is appalled at the current conditions at the Grell Hull- Stevens Netball Complex and is hoping that it will be renovated in short order and is looking forward to a decision being made in terms of its singular use as a NETBALL COMPLEX.

The general sporting community on Nevis would like to thank Ms Hull for her 45 years of dedication and contribution in terms of the sport of Netball, as player, Umpire and Administrator and wishes her many happy years of retirement.

Current Vice President of the Association, Ms Vera Herbert is now the Ag President and a new President is expected to be elected at the Association’s AGM, slated for Thursday January 31st.
