Nigerian Governor Visits JNF

ZIZ News [September 23, 2013] — The Independence Babies and their Mothers got a special treat on Friday morning, September 20 2013; when the Governor Of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria, His Excellency Dr Godswill Akpabio (Apabio) visited the JNF Hospital.

The Governor, Prime Minister Douglas and a group of other officials paid a special visit to the Maternity Ward to meet the Independence Babies and present their Mothers with two thousand dollars ($2000) each.

Governor Akpabio also commended Prime Minister Douglas on the quality of the Joseph N France General Hospital.

Governor Akpabio also committed to donating fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to the hospital and provide more assistance in the future.

Governor Akpabio is a guest of the Prime Minister, here to celebrate The Thirtieth Anniversary Of Independence.
