No New Taxes on the Horizon for St. Kitts and Nevis, Says Prime Minister Harris

Prime Minister Dr. The honourable Timothy Harris has announced that there will be no new taxes introduced in St. Kitts and Nevis. He made the statement during discussions of national interest on the radio programme “Straight Talk” on Monday.

Prime Minister Harris also said that it is important to initiate programmes to assist the people of St. Kitts and Nevis. He added that the government stands ready to help whenever necessary.

Prime Minister Harris explained that alleviating poverty and economically empowering residents to form part of the government’s Good Governance and Prosperity agenda.
