Kingston, Jamaica — The police are still unable to provide an update on the whereabouts of a male prisoner who escaped police custody in St James on Monday.
The man was hospitalised at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay when he eluded the lawmen shortly after 7:00 am.
The police have not released his identity, but reports are that he is from Haughton district in Hanover.
When contacted, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit said they were unable to provide an update on the issue.
