Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 19, 2020 (ZIZ News): Education Ministers from the OECS Council of Ministers visited the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) on Wednesday as part of the 5th annual meeting of the OECS Council of Ministers of Education.
Presentations were made by students from the Division of Technical and Vocational programme, Division of Health Sciences, the Hospitality Culinary Arts programme and the Information and Communication Technology programme led by Dr. Ricardo Neil.
After the presentation of the students from the Information and Technology programme, Dr. Neil explained that getting the youth involved in technology can be beneficial for the country.
President of CFBC, Dr. Jaqueline Austin said that she hope that the visit at CFBC will help to create policy decisions that will be beneficial to the OECS.
The presentations were followed by a tour of the CFBC campus.
The 5th annual meeting of the OECS Council of Ministers: Education is a 2 day meeting that will involve discussing issues regarding education development in the OECS as well as agree on policies and strategies to advance the implementation of the OECS education sector strategy.
