(Sports Page)— The Vern ‘N’ Llew pre-school held its annual sports meet at the school’s ground on Monday 2nd March.
The meet was held under the distinguished patronage of past student, Miss Eulana Weekes.
The three houses: Yellow, Green and Orange, commenced with an impressive march past.
Immediately following the march past, the little athletes hit the tracks and engaged in such races as: Flat races; Socks and shoes; eating the bun; dress up race; fill the bottle; balloon race; sack race and tyre race.
The teachers at the school also engaged in a tyre race which created much excitement.
At the end of the day, Yellow house emerged as the champion house.
The points were as follows:
Yellow—103 points
Green—87 points
Orange -75
