Park Hyatt St. Kitts Hotel designs approved

(ZIZ)Final designs for the Park Hyatt St. Kitts have been approved at a meeting in Chicago.

Minister of tourism the hon. Richard Skerritt said the project is vital to the future economic growth of St. Kitts and Nevis.

He said “this meeting has increased my confidence that the project has all the right elements of sustainability embedded in its design. My discussions with Hyatt hotels and range’s executives reassured me of their joint commitment to people empowerment and community development, two of the key philosophical underpinnings of our government.”

Final designs for the park Hyatt St. Kitts, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015, have now been reviewed and approved by Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s senior executive management team and project designers.

According to the plans, the development will benefit the island’s local communities in addition to helping to preserve the scenic natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The developers have also committed to commence hiring and training Kittitians and Nevisians, well in advance of the resort’s opening, in delivering a luxury destination experience and managing an offshore resort.
