Patrice Nisbett Reaffirms Commitment to Nevis

HonPatriceNisbettHeashotB(ZIZ)– Nevisian Federal Parliamentarian, Honourable Patrice Nisbett, has reaffirmed his commitment to Nevis and Nevisians.

Speaking at the most recent town hall meeting of the Nevis Reformation Party [NRP], Nisbett said that his role as a member of the federal cabinet is being used to better the lives of Nevisians.

“When Nevis people come to me I will help the people of Nevis and I will ensure that the interest of the people of Nevis is protected and that the concerns of the people are indeed addressed. And so you would know and you will be able to examine the work that I have done at the federal level,” Minister Nisbett explained.

Nisbett joined the Federal Cabinet in 2010. He said when called upon to assume the role of Attorney General, he did not boast about his new post, rather, he immediately sought ways of being a sterling representative of the NRP and the island of Nevis by extension.

He said, “I was the Attorney General for a number of years. Yeah, I got a big work; I did get a big work and ladies and gentlemen, when I got my big work I didn’t say I got a big work and sit down. I went to work. I went to work in the interest of the people of Nevis and I am still working in the interest of the people of Nevis and I have been able to deliver on behalf of the people of Nevis and that is why I have a track record of performance.”

Today, the Honourable Patrice Nisbett serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security and Labour in the government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
