Persons Hospitalised As A Result Of Traffic Accident

ZIZ News—8th July, 2013–On Friday 5th July 2013 at about 10:22 am officers of the Old Road Police Station and Traffic Department at West Farm along the Island’s Main Road in the vicinity of ROSS University School of Veterinary Medicine, which left three (3) persons hospitalised.

Initial investigation revealed motor car P8421 and motor jeep P475 were involved in a head on collision. Motor Jeep P475 had one (1) occupant and motor had four (4) occupants; occupants were transported to the hospital, but, three (3) are detained.

An unknown motor vehicle may have caused the accident fled the scene.

Personnel of the Fire and Rescue Services were summoned to the scene to remove the driver of P8421 from the vehicle with the Jaws-of-Life.
