Pioneers defeats Development Team

Sports Page — Friday, 24th May 2013 — The action continued at the Grell Hull Stevens Netball Complex on the evening of Wednesday 22nd May in the local Netball league with round two of the fixtured games.

Pioneers came up against the Nevis Sports Department Development team.

At the end of the first quarter, the Pioneers team was leading by 8 goals to nil but there was a sense of determination by the younger girls and they played with some spirit and a never say die attitude.

There were not too many persons at the Complex but the few who were there seemed to place their support with the younger team and offered constant encouragement and advice.

In the final analysis, the Development team did manage several goals, much to the joy of their supporters.

5.30 pm—Dynamics Elite v Development team-Umpires Jasmine Charles and Allister Thompson

7.00 pm—Pioneers v Bath United—Umpires-Angelique Roberts and Lydia Claxton
