PM meets to renegotiate Kuwait debt

(ZIZ) Prime Minister, The Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas has been meeting with representatives from Kuwait in an effort to renegotiate St. Kitts and Nevis’ debt with that country.

Prime Minister Douglas says Kuwait is one of St. Kitts and Nevis’ development partners, particularly in the area of Infrastructural Development.

The Prime Minister says he is hoping debt forgiveness can be an option for Kuwait.

Prime Minister Douglas says the loan from Kuwait was used primarily for the Infrastructural Development of Nevis’ Sea and Airport.
