PM Serves Lunch To Defence Force

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 24th,  2020 (ZIZ News) On Thursday Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris served lunch to the soldiers of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence force at their Annual Christmas luncheon.

This practice of senior officers serving soldiers has become an annual tradition and according to Defence Force Commander J. Anthony Comrie it’s meant to show appreciation for the work they’ve done throughout the year.

And it’s become especially meaningful in 2020.

Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris said he and the nation appreciate the work the Defence has been doing as part of the Task Force, as the nation responds to the impact of Covid-19

Among the first to be served was former soldier Joseph Bergan who was shot in the line of duty in 2005.
