Pogson Christmas Concert

(ZIZ News) — Health ministry officials joined the staff of the Pogson Health Centre to celebrate the Christmas spirit and spread joy and cheer.

On Wednesday morning the institution held its annual Christmas concert which featured several musical performances.

Minister of Health, the Hon Marcella Liburd, said while Christmas time is known for giving and goodwill, everyone should take the same approach throughout the year.

“So that we don’t wait until next Christmas to look out for that person who we looked for this Christmas. So I want to challenge all of us to see if we can find a little time to share that same love and caring for others throughout the course of the year and not just at Christmastime.”

Prime Minister, The Right Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas, thanked the Pogson staff for their hard work throughout the year.

“And I thank you really for doing all year long what most people do only at Christmas. And that is to care for and about people you do not even know. This is something very special.”

Various medical institutions are holding Christmas concerts this week.

The Joseph N. France general hospital will stage its concert on Friday morning.
