Police arrests a number of persons for various offences

ZIZ News…Jan. 28, 2013 — A number of persons who have broken the law has been arrested and charged and will be facing the courts shortly.

According to a release issued by the Public Relations Office, Theodore Williams of Mc Knight was formally charged for the offence of Larceny which was committed on 24th December 2012 at Independence Square.

Valentine Graham of Cardin Ave was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Crack Cocaine which was committed on 20th January 2013.

Trevin Browne of Jessups Village was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 21st January 2013 at Charlestown.

Leroy Carey of Stapleton Village was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply which were committed on 22nd January 2013.

A juvenile was formally charged for the offence of Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon to Wit A Machete which was committed on 22nd January 2013.

Gregory Seaton of College Street was formally charged for the offences of Obstruction, Resisting Arrest, Battery on Police and Escaping Lawful Custody which were committed on 23rd January 2013.

Lezmore Whattley of Upper Market Street was formally charged for the offences of Obstruction, Resisting Arrest, Battery on Police and Escaping Lawful Custody which were committed on 23rd January 2013.

Rickey Wattley of Lodge Village was formally charged for Malicious Damage which was committed on 14th January 2013.

Jackesha Richards and Ivette Richards of Irishtown Bay Road were formally charged for Malicious Damage which was committed on 16th January 2013.

Leroy Browne alias Charlie Wong of Buckleys Estate was formally charged for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny which was committed between 14th and 15th January 2013.

A juvenile was formally charged for the offence of Threatening Language which was committed on 15th January 2013 at Sandy Point.

Geoffrey Romney of Prospect Estate Nevis was formally charged for the offence of Money Laundering which was committed between the period of 2nd April 2008 and 10th April 2012.
