Police conducts internal investigations

ZIZ News… 13th May 2013 — Commissioner of Police, Celvin Walwyn says the Police are taking every possible measure as they investigate a robbery where an officer was on duty.

According to reports, on April 28 a casino employee was making a deposit when a thief grabbed the bag of money and ran off…all while an armed officer was on guard.

Reports say the police fired shots but the suspect escaped on foot.

Commissioner Walwyn says something about the incident just doesn’t add up.

He says the Police Force does not try to cover up for officers and they will pursue this and other such investigations to get to the truth.
