Police continue their zero tolerance approach to crime and violence

ZIZ News…Jan 30 2012 – The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is moving ahead with their crime fighting plan as they seek to solve a number of crimes including murder.

The latest came on Saturday 28th January 2012 when two persons were arrested on suspicion of Murder. Elvin Stanley of Old Road was murdered on Thursday 26th January 2012 after closing his business and heading for home.

Meanwhile on that same date Saturday 28th January 2012, Joseph Hazel was formally arrested and charged for being in Possession of 2 Kilograms of a Controlled Substance.

According to the Press and Public Relations Office Sergeant Stephen Hector, the Commissioner of Police is quite pleased with the support of the Community thus far for 2012 and wish for the continued support of the Public as the law enforcement agency continues to take back the streets of the Federation.
