Police Force to upgrade its computer skills

ZIZ News…March 10, 2013 — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force in its continued efforts to enhance its knowledge, technical and skills base, will be conducting its first Computer Training Course at the Advanced Vocational Educational Centre (AVEC).

At this training course officers will be enhancing their computer skills in order to keep in pace with the ever evolving world of technology.

The course is a certified one and will be of six (6) weeks duration, which will commence on Saturday 9th March 2013 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. It is geared at equipping officers for the computerisation of the Police Force.

Nineteen (19) officers were selected to participate in this first phase of the course.

The training will be facilitated by the Police Force’s Technologist, Mr. Sherman White.
