Police in Old Road investigating a homicide

ZIZ News…Dec 5, 2012 — One person is left dead and another in custody following an altercation in Old Road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Press and Public Relations Officer of the Police Force, two drinking companions got into an argument in a bar in Old Road that lead to one striking the other with a piece of pipe in his head.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to the injury.

The release concluded by stating that the suspect is in custody as the Criminal Investigation Department continues to look into this tragic incident.
