Police investigating shooting in St. Pauls

(ZIZ News) — The police are investigating a shooting at Willet’s Housing Project in St. Pauls that has left one person injured.

According to a press release from the Police Force, the shooting occurred at around 9.00 pm on Monday.

The police say the victim is Gavin Browne, a resident of the area.

He was shot in the leg by an unknown assailant.

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit and the Criminal Investigations Department and technicians from the Forensics Services Unit have canvassed the scene for evidence.

The investigation continues.
