Police investigating traffic accident; Police arrest updates

ZIZ News…Friday April 26th, 2013 — The St. Paul Police Station is investigating a traffic accident which occurred along the Island’s Main Road at St. Paul Village involving motor taxi bus and a pedestrian.

Initial investigation revealed that the incident took place at about 11:55 pm on Tuesday 23rd April, and the pedestrian was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

In other news, Bernel Doyling of Saddlers Village was formally charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to supply which were committed at Saddlers Village on 24th April 2013.

Michael Gumbs of Godwin Ghaut was also charged for Possession of Cannabis which was committed at Dieppe Bay on 24th April 2013.

Joleen Henry of Hermitage, Cayon was formally charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to supply which was committed on 23rd April 2013 at the Bus Terminal, Basseterre.

Meanwhile, Jerome Prentice of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was formally charged for failing to comply with Lawful Direction given by a Police Officer in Uniform. It was committed at the Junction of Delisle Street and the Bay Road on 24th April 2013.

Micheal Frezzo of Earl Mourne was convicted for Driving without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 20th April 201, and fined $500.00 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

Nestor Jose Garcia Rodriguez of Venezuela has been formally charged for being an Illegal Pawn Broker.
