Police investigating two homicides

ZIZ News…Jan. 28, 2013 — The police in St. Kitts and Nevis were kept quite busy over the weekend as they investigate two homicides, one on each Island.

On Saturday, Police in Gingerland were looking into the circumstances under which a 36 year old man of Rawlins Plantation came to his death.

The young man was found dead at Monkey Rock, Gingerland at around 10:35 in the morning following a report made at the Gingerland Police Station.

The Medical Examiner at the scene disclosed that preliminary investigation indicates that a firearm may have contributed to the death.

Meanwhile, in St. Kitts on Sunday afternoon at about 05.25 officers of the Stapleton Police Station responded to a report of a fatal stabbing incident took place at Parray Village.

Investigators are describing it as a suspicious death.
