Police make arrest for canabis possession

RSCNPF, Basseterre, St. Kitts, (Thursday 28th April 2011). On Wednesday 27th April 2011 at approximately 10:15 am members of the Special Services Unit executed a search warrant on the premises of by Bryan “DJ Benjie” Farrell of Shadwell Estate on suspicion of arms, ammunition and controlled drugs. Police discovered a number of cannabis seedlings growing on the premises. As a result the occupants of the premises were arrested and the cannabis seedlings were also taken into police custody for evidential purposes.

The persons who were formally arrested and charged without warrants on Wednesday 27th April 2011 in relation to this search operation are as follows:

• 45 year-old Bryan “DJ Benjie” Farrell of Shadwell Estate, formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession With Intent to Supply and Cultivation.

• 29 year-old Craig “Uncush” Mills of King Street, formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession With Intent to Supply and Cultivation.

• 19 year-old Quake Phillip of Shadwell Estate, formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession With Intent to Supply and Cultivation.
