Police Receive New SUVs

(ZIZ News) — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force was the recipient of two new SUVs. The donation was made by the Coalition of Support for St. Kitts and Nevis Security Initiatives.

Acting Commissioner of Police, Stafford Liburd pledged the Force’s commitment to putting the vehicles to good use.

“We intend to use these gifts in our continued fight with crime and also to serve the public in St. Kitts and Nevis. It is our intention to put them to best use. It is our intention to take good care as we have done with other vehicles that we have received from this partnership,” he said.

Meanwhile, John Zuliani, representative of the Coalition of Support for St. Kitts and Nevis security Initiatives, vowed the coalition’s continued support of the police force.

“I think safety is something that we are all striving for throughout the community and anything that the business sector or that we can do to assist to ensure the safety of all citizens of St. Kitts I think it falls on us as citizens so the Coalition will always be here to continue supporting the police force and in any other way that we feel that we support or the government feels that we can support,” he said.

The Coalition of Support for St. Kitts and Nevis Security Initiatives was established to drive effective advocacy, change and progress in the areas of safety and security in St. Kitts and Nevis.
