Police Still Need Public’s Help to Find Wanted Man Vincent Taylor

The police still need your help to find a wanted man who is a person of interest in the August 18th shooting death of Sgt. Leon Powell in Newton Ground.

The police are looking for 37 year old Vincent Taylor, also known as Shungy, Bungo, or Lyah.

His last known addresses are Mcknight and Sandy Point. He is 5 feet ten inches tall, 160 pounds with a medium build, dark complexion, dark brown eyes and black hair believed to be cut low. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him, knows of his whereabouts or may have any little information needed to assist the police in finding him is asked to contact the violent crime unit at 467-1887, 467-1888 or 662-3468 or the nearest police station.

A reward of EC $50,000 dollars is being offered to anyone who can provide information that may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the death of police Sergeant Leon Powell.
