Police to meet with members of the community through Town Hall meetings

ZIZ News…March 11, 2013 — The police continue to reach out to the public as they forge a better relationship with the various communities. This comes through a town hall meeting later this week.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Division “A” will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting at McKnight Community Centre on Thursday 14th March 2013 at 6:30pm sharp.

According to release, this meeting is a part of the Police Force’s Community Policing initiative geared towards building a stronger relationship with the community and the country as a whole.

Leaders of community groups, sporting groups, churches and church group, owners and managers of business in the area are specially invited to give ideas or suggestions for the way forward in the reducing or eliminating crime, fear of crime and social disorder which lead to the commission of crime.

All are invited to participate at this meeting.
