Police Updates – 21st November 2013

(ZIZ) Keith Murray age 26, Denroy Simmonds age 27, and Nicholas Riley age 23 all of Challengers Village were formally arrested and charged for the Murder of George Livingston Queeley, which was allegedly committed 27th January, 2011.

Enslie Lewis of Prickley Pear Alley was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis , which was allegedly committed 18th November, 2013.

Lewis Powell of Fort Thomas Road was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply, which were allegedly committed 18th November,2013.

Denroy Simmonds of Challengers Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Obstruction, which were committed on 15th November 2013 at Challengers Village.

Keith Murray of Challengers Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Cultivation of Cannabis, which were allegedly committed on 15th November 2013.

Livingston Carey of Rawlins Project, St. Paul Village was formally arrested and charged for Malicious Damage, which was allegedly committed on 16th  November 2013at St. Paul Village.

Meanwhile, A juvenile was convicted for Battery, which was committed on 20th February 2013, and placed on a bond in the sum of $2,500 for two (2) years, to keep the peace and be of good behaviour,

A juvenile was convicted for the Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 17th July 2013 at Sandy Point, and ordered to attend counselling at the child Protection Service Department, and report back to the Court on 20th January 2014 .

Furthermore, Robert Harrington of Frigate Bay was convicted for Assault committed on 22nd March 2013 at Kittitian Hill, St. Paul Villages, and fined $1,000.00 which is to be paid 22nd November 2013 or default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with Hard Labour.

Alfred Williams of Mount Idle, Sandy Point was convicted for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent to Supply To Another, and sentenced to (3) three months in prison with Hard labour for Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply and he sentenced to serve and reprimanded and discharged for Possession of Cannabis.

In other news, Cayon Police Station is investigating a traffic accident which occurred on Monday 18 November 2013 about 7:55 am at Briton which left one person taken to the hospital.

Initial investigation revealed that motor bus TA 477 owned and driven by Anthony Huggins of Upper Market Street and a pedal cyclist Victor Hanson of Upper Cayon were involved in the accident.
