ZIZ News — Arrests

Cleon Doyling of Challengers was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Cultivation of Cannabis, which were committed on 12th May 2014.

Sylvester Stanley of Challengers was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Cultivation of Cannabis, which were committed on 12th May 2014, and Unlawful Possession, which was committed on 13th May 2014.

Shakeel Ryan of Lower Shaw Avenue was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 11th May 2014.

Jahkeen Walters of Upper Market street, Basseterre was formally arrested and charged for Driving Without Insurance, Driving Without A Valid or An Unexpired License, Taking A Vehicle Without The Consent Of The Owner and Driving An Unregistered Vehicle, which were committed on 12th May 2014 at Saddlers village.

A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Building Breaking with Intent, which was committed 9th May 2014.

Court Convictions

District “A” Magistrate’s Court

Damion O’donoghue of Stapleton Village was convicted for Malicious Damage which was committed on 9th October 2013, and fined $675.00 which is to be paid in six (6) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison.

District “B” Magistrate’s Court

Chavez Nital of The Alley, Sandy Point was convicted for riding a Pedal Cycle without a Bell and Defective Brakes which were committed on 22nd October 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined $150.00 for offence which are to be paid on 23rd May 2014 or in default will serve seven (7) days in prison.

Buanette Levine of Canada Estate was convicted for Careless Driving which was committed on 2nd November 2013 at Dieppe Bay, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid by 30th May 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison with hard labour.

Neville Fahie of Newton Ground was convicted for Driving Without Seat Belt which was committed on 2nd April 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined $200.00 forthwith or in default will fourteen (14) days in prison with hard labour.

Timothy Abbott of Harris’ Village was convicted for Driving An Unlicensed Vehicle and Driving Without Insurance, and fined $200.00 for Driving An Unlicensed Vehicle, which is to be paid by 26th May 2014, or, in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison with hard labour, and $750.00 for Driving Without Insurance which is to be paid by 13th June 2014, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
