(ZIZ)– Lorin Bartlette of Brown Hill was formally arrested and charged for carrying abroad an offensive weapon, threatening language and resisting arrest, which were committed on 11th August 2014.

Ramon Palmer of Wades Garden, Basseterre was formally arrested and charged for Manslaughter, for the death of the late Brian Francis alias Junk-a-body, which was committed on 25th July 2014.

Donald Hendrickson of Upper College Street was formally arrested and charged for Threatening Language and Battery on Police, which were committed on Saturday 9th August 2014.

Patrick Howell of Cane Garden and Morris Gumbs of Meades Pasture were formally arrested and charged for Wounding with intent, which was committed on Monday 4th August 2014.

Meanwhile, Tajal Heyliger of Upper Shaw Avenue was convicted for Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 10th December 2013 at Prickley Pear Alley, and fined $750.00 which is to be paid in seven (7) weeks or will serve two (2) months in prison.

Travis Lake of East Street, Newtown was convicted for Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 26th December 2014 at the Ferry Terminal, and fined $2000.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or will serve four (4) months in prison.

Sean Rogers of Conaree Village was convicted for Possession of Cannabis and Possession with intent to supply which were committed on 17th January 2014 at the Ferry Terminal, and fined $2000.00 for both offences which are to be paid in three (3) months or will serve six (6) months in prison.

Elvis Burroughs of Cunningham Village, Cayon was convicted for Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 10th December 2013 at Cayon, and cautioned.

In other news, The Tabernacle Police Station is investigating an incident that occurred on Sunday 10th August 2014 along the Island Main Road at Douson which resulted in the driver being transported to the hospital.

Initial investigation revealed that Alister Morton of Garden Housing Project was travelling in motor van PA 5651 to Basseterre when the accident occurred.
