Police Updates (March 22, 2014)

ZIZ News — Maria Gonzalez of College Street was formally arrested and charged for two (2) counts of Wounding, which was committed on 18th March 2014.

Degeorn Boynes of Green Tree Project was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Drug Trafficking, which were committed on 18th March 2013.

Victor Challenger aka “Snagger” of The Alley, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Assault With Intent To Rob, which was committed on 11th December 2013 at Half Way Tree.

Javier Charles of Bath Village was formally arrested and charged for Larceny, which was committed on 16th March 2014.

COURT CONVICTIONS

District “A” Magistrate’s Court

Othneil James of Half Way Tree was convicted for Resisting Arrest, Battery on Police and Escaping Lawful Custody, which were committed on 18th October 2013, and sentenced to one (1) month in prison with hard labour for each charge.

Todd E Walters of New York was convicted for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 18th March 2014, and fined $1500.00 forthwith or in default will serve three (3) months in prison.

District “C” Magistrate Court

Paireia Skeete of Government Road was convicted for Driving With Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 28th September 2013, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.
