(ZIZ)– Keston Matthew of Saddlers Village was formally arrested and charged for the Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 16th May, 2014 at Saddlers Village.

Joshua Dedier, Steve Flanders, Kevin Eddy of Saddlers Village and Ashley Grey of Sprott Street, Baasterre were formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply, and Possession of Ammunition, which were committed on 16th May, 2014 at Saddlers Village.

Yandel Liddie of Pedro Street, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Threatening Language, which were committed on 17th May, 2014 at Sandy Point Police Station.

Walton Flanders of Newton Ground for Obstruction under the drug act, which was committed on 17th May, 2014 at Sandy Point Police Station.

Hakeem Federick of Farm Site, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 17th May, 2014 at Sandy Point Police Station.

Elston Queeley of Cart Path, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Escaping Lawful Custody and Indecent Language, which were committed on 3rd May, 2014.

Reice Warner of Farm Site, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Obstruction under the drug act, which was committed on 17th May, 2014.

Terrance Hendrickson of Soho, Dorset, Basseterre was formally arrested and charged for Breach of Injunction/Protection Order that was made against him on 10th December, 2013, which was committed on 7th and 9th May 2014.

Ackeem Connor of Davis Road, St. Paul Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis.

Evron Williams of West Farm was formally arrested and charged for Building Breaking and Larceny which was committed 3rd and 4th April 2014 at Lower Market Street, Basseterre.

Kevinton Garvey of Bouncing Hill, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Obstruction and Possession of Cannabis, which were committed at Crab Hill on 16th May, 2014.

Meanwhile, Craig Boston of Newtown was convicted for Aggravated Assault, and ordered to pay compensation in the sum of $2000.00 to be paid by 1st August, 2014 or serve three (3) months in prison.

Jovis Smithen of Osbourne Street, Cayon was convicted for Possession of Cannabis, and fined $900.00 which is to be paid on 30th June, 2014 or will serve three (3) months in prison with hard labour.

Leshawn Dore of Upper Cayon was convicted for Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 17th January, 2014, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid by 23rd May, 2014 or will serve three (3) months in prison with hard labour.

Joseph Charles of Sandy Point was convicted for Throwing Missiles which was committed on 3rd April, 2014 at St. Paul Village, and sentenced to thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.

Abkim Bryan of Sandy Point was convicted for Throwing Missiles and Armed With An Offensive Weapon which were committed on 3rd April, 2014 at St. Paul Village, and sentenced to thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour for each offence.

Bruce Coker of Challengers convicted for Driving without seatbelt which was committed on 28th March, 2013 and 4th March, 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined of $100.00 for each charge which are to be paid by 21st May, 2014 or will serve fourteen (14) days in prison with hard labour for each charge.

In other news, on Saturday 17th May 2014, the Seventh Day Adventist Church Congregation at Millionaire Street reached out to the Traffic Department in conducting Sabbath Service with the staff at the department, which was a wonderful experience. The service commenced 10:00 AM and ended 11:00 AM.

Head of the department Inspector Carl Caines said that special and spiritually lifted visit by the Seventh Day Adventist Church was timely and it gave the assurance that God is still at his throne, police offers too do need and seek God’s blessings. He therefore takes this opportunity on behalf of his department, the Commissioner of Police and the Force as a whole to thank the elder of the congregation, Dr. Lincoln Carty for thinking of the staff at his department which is located in the close proximity of the church and worshipped with them.

Commissioner CG Walwyn takes this opportunity to express his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the positive gesture made by Dr. Carty and the congregation on this special visit to the Traffic Department.
