Police Updates (November 1, 2013)

Arrests

Leroy Martin of Conaree Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Supply, which were committed on 26th November 2013 at the Ferry Terminal.

Chris Brown of Bath Village was formally arrested and charged for Burglary, which was committed on 24th November 2013 at Bath Village

Kimoy Sweeney of Bath Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis (Resin) and Possession of Cannabis (Resin) With Intent to Supply, which were committed on 28th November 2013.

Green Browne of Stoney Grove was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis (Resin) and Possession of Cannabis (Resin) With Intent to Supply, which were committed on 28th November 2013. 

Court Conviction:

District A Magistrate Court:

Conrad Clarke of Basseterre was convicted for a number of charges of Larceny, which were committed on 19th October 2013 and 21st October 2013, and sentenced to four (4) years imprisonment.

St. Christopher Circuit Court:

Cardie Stapleton of Taylor’s Village was convicted for Building Breaking and Larceny and Building Breaking With Intent which were committed on 4th November 2013, and sentenced to three (3) years in prison for Building Breaking With Intent and seven (7) years in prison for Building Breaking and Larceny, which was reduced to four (4) years; sentences are to run concurrently.

Sylvester Harris of Conaree Village was convicted for Building Breaking With Intent and Building Breaking and Larceny, which were committed on 24th September 2013, and sentenced to three (3) years in prison for Building Breaking With Intent charge and  six (6) years in prison for Building Breaking and Larceny, which was reduced to three (3) and a half years; sentences are to run concurrently.

Basseterre Magistrate’s Court:

Lisa Corale of Boyd’s Village was convicted for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 19th August 2013, and cautioned.

Traffic Accident Resulted In Injured Person Transported To Hospital:

Traffic Department is investigating a traffic accident which occurred on Thursday 28th November 2013 about 1:50 pm at East Park Range, in the vicinity of NHC which left one person being transported to the hospital.

Initial investigation revealed that the accident involved a pedestrian, Myrtlyn Francis of Marshall Alley, Basseterre and motor car P636 which is owned by Celestine Davis of Cayon, and driven by Jacel Davis of Cayon.
