(ZIZ News) — Arrests
Rodelle Clarke of Stapleton and Trevlon Stanley of Upper Monkey Hill were formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply, which were committed on Sunday 26th October 2014.
Court Convictions
District “B” Magistrate’s Court
Gary Webster of Parson Village was convicted for Threatening Language and Assault which were committed on Thursday 26th June 2014, and fined $500.00 for each offence which are to be paid by 30th November 2014 or in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
Darrell Freeman of Verchilds was convicted for Driving Without Due Care and Attention which was committed on Tuesday 29th April 2014, and fined $800.00 which is to be paid by 14th November 2014 or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.
One person transported to hospital following a Traffic Accident
The Traffic Department on Nevis is investigating a traffic accident which occurred along Long Point Road on Tuesday 28th October 2014, resulted in the driver of the vehicle being transported to the hospital.
Initial investigation revealed that motor jeep R 83 owned by Chad Weekes of New Castle, and driven by Kirmani Webbe of Camps was travelling along Long Point Road when the accident occurred; the vehicle collided into an electronic gate on the mountain side of the road.
