Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 7, 2019 (ZIZ News): On Thursday’s episode of policing with you, host, inspector James Francis was joined by Sargent Sophia Henry of the traffic department to discuss the traffic plan for the Caribbean Premier League home games that will be held at the warner park cricket stadium.

Sargent Henry first addressed the traffic flow going to the stadium.

“Traffic will flow in one direction northwards along Victoria Road, westward along Lozack Road, eastward along the road north of NHC and southward along Park Range.”

She also mentioned the restricted parking areas which consist of Victoria road, east Park Range between Basseterre high school and Lozack Road, and along Lozack Road between Victoria Road and Hart Street.

Sargent henry also shared the specific areas designated for parking.

“The general public will park on streets in non-restricted areas, VIPs and Government officials will park on Lozack Road, team and match officials will park in the parking lot immediately at the Pavilion, the governor general, organizing committee members and sponsors will park at the tennis court, parking lot and carnival city. Persons must present the appropriate parking passes to gain access to designated areas.”

Residents of the area can park at their regular spots, however, some parking will be reserved for VIPs on a portion of Lozack Road between Park Range and Burt Street.

Sargent Henry warned that failure to comply with the traffic plans outlined by the traffic department will result in your vehicle being towed.
