Pooran to join West Indies Under-19 in Guyana

WICBLogoAGEORGETOWN, Guyana – The WICB Selection Panel today announced that Nicolas Pooran has been drafted into the West Indies Under-19 team for the ongoing seven-match limited-overs series against Bangladesh Under-19 in Guyana.

The 17-year-old left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper was a member of the Trinidad & Tobago Red Force team which recently reached the semi-finals of the Champions League T20 Tournament in India.

Meanwhile, batsman Brandon King has been ruled out of the series with a hand injury sustained during training. He will return to Jamaica to continue his rehabilitation.
