Premier receives Congratulations from Taiwan Ambassador on Election Win

St.Kitts- Nevis Resident Ambassador of Taiwan His Excellency Miguel Li-Jey Tsao and Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS–MONDAY, JULY 25TH, 2011) Ambassador of Taiwan His Excellency Miguel Li-Jey Tsao congratulated the Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry on his Party’s recent re-election victory and his appointment as Premier for a second straight term.

The Ambassador assured Premier Parry that in his “new term in office, the ties of friendship and cooperation between Taiwan and Nevis will continue to strengthen, especially in the political, economic and cultural cooperation.”

“Premier Parry’s resounding victory at the polls “reflects my conviction that your total commitment is to the people of Nevis”, said His Excellency.

According to the congratulatory letter, the Ambassador stated that the Premiers track record of fairness, and desire of service to humanity is being celebrated and honored by the people from all walks of life in Nevis.

He said he was hopeful that the continued friendship and solidarity “will allow me and my colleagues in Taiwan to employ your model of good governance and sound economic longevity.”

The Ambassador concluded, “Your people have given you the mandate to conduct the affairs of the country on their behalf. I am sure that under your dynamic leadership Nevis will continue to grow and experience great progress in the coming years.”
